Introduction

Hey there! Today’s article carries a bit of excitement mixed with a splash of cringe, so brace yourselves for some surprises. Besides the three regular sets from DC, a polybag, and a brand-new Marvel book, we’re also diving into three sets from the kids’ cartoon “Spidey and His Amazing Friends” that will leave you stunned—trust me on this one!

76301: Batman & Batmobile vs. Mr. Freeze

Let’s kick things off with what seems like a straightforward set featuring Batman. This set belongs to the series aimed at young builders (Juniors 4+) and is known for its easy assembly. Often, LEGO enthusiasts overlook Juniors sets, which is a big mistake.

Unique elements here include a special piece with the logo and headlights (both printed), as well as unique torsos for Mr. Freeze and Batman—seriously, collectors will line up for these! Plus, there are tons of useful parts for custom builds! So as a donor set, it’s fantastic! Release date: January 1, 2025, with 63 pieces priced at €20.

76302: Superman Mech vs. Lex Luthor

Next on the list is a set that doesn’t make much sense logically. The fastest, strongest superhero, practically invulnerable, in a mech suit… What’s the upgrade here? But here’s the thing: kids love superheroes (especially Superman), and kids also love mechanical suits and robots in general. That’s why this set will fly off the shelves.

I’m a fan of the mini-figures and the piece with the S symbol. Overall, it’s not too shabby. Release date: January 1, 2025, with 120 pieces priced at €15.

76303: Batman Tumbler vs. Two-Face & The Joker

This is another Batman vehicle in a “playable format,” sized for mini-figures. This time, it’s based on Christopher Nolan’s films. I think this set is fantastic—lots of recognizable figures, a cool bat-signal, and the legendary vehicle, which is more of a rolling armored tank than a Batmobile. It’ll fit perfectly with other Batmobiles of this scale. Release date: January 1, 2025, with 429 pieces priced at €60.

11198: Spin and Electro Dinosaur Vehicle Chase

Moving on to “Spidey,” we need to note that all sets in this series are aimed at young builders (Juniors 4+). We see teen figures: Spin (Miles Morales) and Electro (yes, a girl!), and all the pieces with designs are prints. However, this time there’s not much utility—a dragon head with red webbing and a large yellow slope with eyes. It’s kind of underwhelming. The motorcycle tail is the only useful element in this strange mix. Release date: January 1, 2025, with 124 pieces priced at €20.

11199: Team Spidey Dino Crawler Rescue

Here we have dinosaur-spiders! You heard right. It’s a rather questionable idea, but they didn’t forget to include a nice little “nugget” next to the nest. In a crazy custom build, those massive blue wheels might come in handy. Overall, it’s a very, very strange set. Release date: January 1, 2025, with 136 pieces priced at €30.

11200: Spidey and Gobby’s Raptor Battle at Tree House HQ

Commenting on this set only ruins the experience. Just look at it. Look and tremble. It’s as rough as it gets: a hideous aircraft, ugly mutant dinosaurs, and a schematic treehouse. Among the few advantages is a piece resembling a dinosaur skull with prints—and that’s about it. Release date: January 1, 2025, with 143 pieces priced at €55.

30707: Venom’s Museum Robbery

This polybag rocks! You get two figures and useful accessories like a helmet and armor. Just what we need. The shattered display case with a trophy is a fantastic addition. A true winner! Release date: January 1, 2025, with 36 pieces priced at around €5.

LEGO Marvel Spider-Man Explore the Spider-Verse

The next LEGO Marvel book is entirely dedicated to Spider-Man. It covers vehicles, locations, and figures based on this theme. A special figure of Cyber Spider-Man based on the 1992 comics will be included.

It’s quite amusing that the final version for presentation and these photos included a crooked figure with a “missprint.” Just look at that misaligned white eye. A remarkable fail that might cost someone their bonus. Release date: May 1, 2025.

Conclusion

With these exciting upcoming LEGO sets, there’s a lot to look forward to in 2025. Whether you’re a fan of DC Comics or Spidey’s adventures, there’s something here for everyone! Which set are you most excited about?
