Description

Set in Japan’s late Edo period, Bakumatsu Kōrinden: Oni follows a young boy named Yamatomaru as he battles to protect his village from mystical forces. After losing his father, he receives a katana and embarks on a mission to rescue kidnapped boys, while becoming entwined in a power struggle over a mysterious energy source known as reiketsu.

The game features turn-based battles and a unique karma system akin to RPGs like Dragon Quest. Your choices impact your karma, influencing rewards and enemy interactions. Show kindness to gain strength, or indulge in wrongdoing to face dire consequences.
